I love the concept of doing dream boards. This was my first go at it, and I plan to make this a personal ritual every month. You can find out more about them by visiting
The fun thing about doing this, at least for me, was sniping and collecting little bits from the numerous catalogs that get sent out every season-- way more than I need or even want, and to just radomly cut out the various pictures that spoke to me, without much thought, just because I liked them and wanted them there. And after receiving some rather unsettling news in the office today, it was so soothing just to come home and carve out a few quiet minutes to light my candle, and layout my scraps in collage fashion while basking in that full moon light through my kitchen window.
The other great thing was that I didn't even think to use any of my creative stash, just the bits collected from "junk" mail, and the catalogs were then put in for recycling. So no expensive items were used, no pre-determined plan.
Definitely a bit of theme emerged... longing for composure and grace in the midst of hard changes going on right now, the desire for peace, comfort, and time at home for Christmas, nurturing myself and family, magic and nature, all of these things and much more to reflect on for later. I look forward to seeing other dream boards and hope that our collective energies will manifest our dreams into realities!
Full Moon Blessings!

This is wonderful. I have done something similar with magazine clipping collages. How did you do the falling snow?
